7. I think you mean 'ice' days. Did you see the pics from his doorway?
Holy cow. And here in cloudy VA, it is currently 61 balmy degrees. No hurricanes as of yet.

2. Yes. But it is prohibitively expensive and not available in VA.

3. Yes it is, my mother use to make Chex Mix from scratch
Of course that was back in the 70s before you could buy pre-made Chex Mix

So there - you want the recipe or something?

5. Yes but you had to stir up the Kool-Aid every time you poured a cup
So those "good old days" were quite so great now were they?

11. Our pet deer was no fan of Fizzies
and frankly he didn't appreciate one of his own being used as a capitalist's tool

4. They were sold separately when I lived in the US. I used to make it sometimes.

12. Yeah, can't get Chex in Canada
Crispix makes a good substitute, and of course there's Shreddies, the greatest cereal on Earth.

13. Oh hell yeah, home-made Chex mix is way better
In WI you can buy packets of the seasoning but I like to make my own (they have the recipe on the box of Chex).

Or do you mean actually make the cereal pieces? Because in that case I think it would be terribly difficult to get them all the right size and shape even if you had the recipe.
