17. BTW, I wasn't trying to bait you into this thread.
But once I wrote that, I wanted to make sure you knew it wasn't mean-spirited.

How are you doing with your basement?

22. Watching all the rivers and tributaries run to the gulf
(the sump pump pit)

It'll be like this for at least a week. All the runoff from the fields ends up on my property and it has to go somewhere. :eyes:

18. On top of your car?
Since we have a garage, I always put mine on top of the car so that I know where they will be and there's no chance of them getting locked in the car (hubby locks the doors even in our own garage - drives me crazy!). Anyways, he drove around town with mine on the top of the car for about two hours one night trying to get our infant son to sleep. He heard something scrape across the top of the car then realized what it was. Needless to say, he's the luckiest bastard on the planet because he actually found them in the road.

So anyhows, I now put them on the middle console in the car.

I hope you find yours soon.

24. retrace your steps, search the clothes you were wearing
what did you do that was unusual after you got out of your car and into the house. I'm assuming you used your keys to get in the house, and you already looked at the lock on all outside doors, right?

The last time I lost mine, they were in the pocket of the shirt I was wearing. I never put keys in my shirt pocket, so why would I look there?
