Poll question: Favorite FOUR TOPS record?

In my delivery vehicle today, I listened to Motown's 4-CD boxed set on the Four Tops. So I figured, what the hell, let's do a poll at DU tonight.

As usual, if you don't see your personal favorite listed, you're more than welcome to write it in!

3. "7 Rooms" sends chills up my spine.
They also did a fantastic cover of "Walk Away, Renee."

7. "Ain't No Woman Like the One I've Got"
Partly because it reminds me of a certain time and place, and a certain guy who I can still picture singing it....1973 was a great year for soul music.

11. Tough call, Night Train!
Had to go with "Sugar Pie Honey Bunch" because it was the ONLY song that could stand against "Satisfaction" in the summer of '65!

Cheers,
:hippie:

13. Eddie Holland, Brian Holland, and Lamont Dozier
were bloody geniuses. Throw in Levi Stubbs' growl, and you've got something of oft unsurpassed beauty.

I went with "Bernadette," the song Dave Marsh once described as "a Black man singing Bob Dylan." The lyrics, the arrangement, the singing -- all the way through the false ending, this is just about the most perfect record ever made by ANYBODY.

14. Wow, Train! That Was A Hard Poll
You picked so many really good hits that it was hard to decide. I picked Reach Out, but i could have picked at least 4 others, maybe more.

Good question!
