My wife is reading "Tortilla Curtain."

Man, that cuts to the bone in so many ways.

I don't read fiction, but my wife is telling me about it.

It tells the story of a wealthy white liberal in Topanga Canyon whose life becomes intertwined with an illegal alien living, homeless, in the canyon outside of his estate.

I can't beleive I never heard of that book before now.
