About how much do you think it would cost - alone and professionally - to paint the interior walls of a home that is roughly 1,600 square feet? The walls are average height.

1. It's all about the prep work.

Painting is easy - how much repair, wallpaper removal, fixtures etc

2. I just had an estimate

for 4 rooms and a long hall and it was $750 with me buying the paint and removing all the old wallpaper. Hard to say with regional variations in price though.

3. hard to say from here. i charge by the room. depends on the prep, if i gotta move furnitue etc

but, i'm not painting occupied homes anymore, except the exterior.
