Yummiest appetizer?
I have a major craving for cream cheese jalapeno poppers.
I also adore the deep fried cheese curds they only sell at the county fair.

Mmmmm... appetizers....

Yum... Gotta be the Gulf ones... The sweetest most tender Calamari I have ever had comes from the UAE...!

Insanely good!

6. I like American calamari... don't get me wrong... however,

some places just have better stuff... The best beef, for example, comes from TX and Oklahoma hands-down (not KOBE).

The UAE has some awesome shellfish... beautiful tiger prawns... the calamari... and a local denizen the cigali (a type of sand lobster found in the Gulf). These are brilliant when grilled.

Edited on Fri Mar-23-07 06:23 PM by ALiberalSailor
and Langostinos are Tiger Prawns. Like Shrip, but much bigger and much tastier. Sergio LOVES him some potato chips. Loves 'em. He'd probably have them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if we let him.

24. How much heat can you handle?
Here's my brother's favorite appetizer:

white onions, thinly sliced
ripe habanero peppers, thinly sliced
lime juice
salt
let it steep for 30 minutes

eat over saltine crackers....

If you don't get the hiccups from eating these, add more peppers.
