don't know what this means but,
Here I am in a coffee house/cyber cafe in Rapid City, and I went to the DU site and found that I was already logged in.

I didn't check to see whose handle I was logged in under.

Out of morbid curiosity I would have done that if I'd thought, but some other DU'er was logged in here--on this open to the public computer--just a short time ago.

What does that say?

1. It says that somebody isn't practicing safe computing.

It's important to always sign out of any sites, wipe out the browser history and clear the cache when you're finished with any public computer.

2. That's true.
But also perhaps a bit more too.

5. I wonder if anyone has ever recognized the identity
of someone they know by putting together clues from the person's posts and profile on DU.
The other day someone had a post asking who drives a blue Prius (I can't remember what city) because he/she had been driving behind someone with a DU bumper sticker.
