Nobody wants to go to bed but the Bunny. Sometimes being the Bunny is a real chore.

6. I have everything ready to go but haven't filled the baskets.
That's no big deal but hiding the hundred chocolate eggs is a big deal. I'm going to be doing it in a stupor. The STBE has fallen asleep and will be no help. I can hear him snoring from here.

You did the basket ahead of time, huh? Very smart.

I'm entering it into a contest, and the deadline is next Sunday, which is, coincidentally, my birthday. :D

After I finish that, I need to finish up my TV pilot for another contest, and that one's due by the end of the month.

Edited on Sat Apr-07-07 10:29 PM by crim son
I learned he didn't exist. The bunny always seemed harmless although if you think of it s/he's probably a badass, hauling all the Easter props around with nothing but the bare paws.

44. Honey...I hear you!
I'm sitting here thinking of sneaking into the garage and pulling out the old Spring/Easter baskets while two of my three kiddos are watching Lewis Black. (Doesn't that pretty much say that they shouldn't even expect Easter baskets!?!)

This year is mostly candy and DVDs. "Bottle Rocket" for the 16 year old, "Rosemary's Baby" for my 14 year old who claims that she likes scary movies (HA!), and an obscure Japanese video game for the 12 years old.

I only started giving presents in Easter baskets because I was trying to cut down on candy for my daughter with Type 1 diabetes. But, over the last few years, it seems to have become the norm to do presents.

Next stop: Fourth of July and Columbus Day presents. :eyes:
