What does one do when they can't feel their fingers anymore?

20. I've a similar problem, and sometimes with my toes too.

Tight muscles constricting on the nerves is part of it... do stretch and take a break.

For me, blood circulation problems and being overweight (I'm 200 pounds but I should be closer to 175 with my 33" waist...) are the root causes for my problems and it's high time I get back on my plan.

As a person with all kinds of neck and back issues that migrate all down my arms and legs, I was glad I got that MRI and learned it wasn't anything more than just getting the f*ck old. Hope that's all it is for you.

I've had an MRI there a few years ago when my other hand's fingers went numb, more than this, and they were going to look at surgery, but then it went away, at least temporarily. My neck is screwn for some reason. Just stuff that can't be done much about I'm afraid.


But I do have a weird thing with my thumbs, they twitch, and the doc wants to see the MRI to see if there is anything new about that.

Otherwise, I have talented thumbs and can text on a cell phone driving down the road without looking at the phone, just counting and feeling. :shrug:

I've had carpal tunnel problems corrected in both hands... they tingled for years until 1983, when the doctor did both hands, two months apart. Of course, then I developed trigger fingers in four other fingers.
