It's snowing in east Texas.
I wish I could be there. My grandmother lived in east Texas until she passed away two years ago. We always celebrated Easter at her house. I miss her so...

I can only imagine how wonderful it would have been to be a child in east Texas at my grandmother's house tomorrow morning, hunting Easter eggs in the snow.

I keep thinking about her grave being blanketed with snow--and how I really need to get over that way to put a new arrangement by her headstone.

I had the best grandmother in the world.

That is a stunning picture.

4. That was her engagement photo.
She was the grandmother most people could only dream of having.

I'll certainly clink a glass to that. :toast:

5. I wish it was here...
It's not quite cold enough for snow here in southeast TX (I'm home for Easter). We're just getting unseasonably cold weather plus the usual rain!

That is a nice story about your grandmother, and I definitely agree with you about how much fun it would have been to hunt easter eggs in the snow...

10. She is movie star gorgeous, Maddy.
I know, I always miss the members of my family who are no longer with me during holiday seasons because they worked so hard to make beautiful memories for me. Thanks for sharing.

No snow here. Just temps in the 30s and a metric fuckload of rain.
