I forgot to buy orange juice, but there's a Walgreen's just up the road, and they are open every day of the year.

Michael's is open.

I'm looking for some clay to make a cast my dog's paw. I found out she has bone cancer and I want to make a memory thingy sort of like this.

She's doing well so far, but I really do not to wasted anytime in getting this taken care of.

15. Everything here is open.
I think Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve stores close early, and Christmas day the stores are closed, but Portland and its suburbs tend to be pretty secular.

I remember when I was in school we had a 3-day weekend for Easter. I am SO old!

I remember when the entire town was shut down for July 4th - not a single business open. Every other holiday too and you couldn't buy booze on Sunday.

19. I'm old too!
I remember the days before Spring Break was called Spring Break. It was Easter break and it always fell on Holy Week. Similarly, Winter Break was called Christmas Break.

That was a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time ago. :hi:
