I have a pervasive personal problem.

I switched my dog to a new food about a week ago for safety's sake and because he really loves it. The problem? He farts, all day and all night. I never hear a thing, but I live in a world of silent but deadly, chicken and oatmeal scented dog farts....

The other response is turning to the source of the atmospheric disturbance with a
mock look of surprise on her face... Like, :wtf: .

6. Change his food again. I use Innova Evo (for cats) and I think
you can also give it to dogs.

My cat has never had a problem like the one you're dealing with!

18. someone on DU wrote about this and suggested buttermilk.

I have been pouring a little over my dogs food once a week for a month or so and it helps cut down on the deadly air biscuits.
Doesn't hurt to have a glass myself. ;-)

19. If the dog tolerates dairy, GOOD yogurt can be a help too.
Most mutts love yogurt or buttermilk.

21. No, I haven't heard of wellness? Where do you get it?
I'm not sure if he'll adjust to this food- its only been a week- sometimes a change in diet can cause things to upset. At least he isn't having diarreah. He has a great appetite and he loves the food so that part is really good. I good do with a little less gas, but I don't think he is having any discomfort really.
