:loveya:
Even if it does cost $5 to drive on a section of highway you could spit across.

8. That's because those of us in the know can get from DC to NJ without a toll
But since you're mean about my state I'm not about to share that one with you!

15. I don't, but I live west of Bawlmer - closer to Frederick
My only real beef with the Delaware Tolls is that they haven't made them one way, like the Bridge.......

I always wave to Shane's Memorial "died in a car wreck" cross on the Northbound side of 95

Delaware has the best beaches in the Mid Atlantic by far

My Uncle owned a Horse that won at Delaware Park once, we were there and got to do the whole Winner's Circle Picture stuff along with spending the whole day at the track, hanging out at the stables, all that jazz

23. BTW- this is the Delaware secret
Get off of 95 at Aberdeen for route 40. You'll have to pay $5 one time but ask for the sticker. It's good for a year to cross the Aberdeen Bridge on route 40 which will take you up into Delaware.

It adds about 10-15 minutes onto your trip but saves alot in money. It's also a good alternative route if 95 becomes a parking lot.

Also - I know there are two bridge without a toll that connect PA to New Jersey. One is the New Hope Bridge but that would probably take you out of your way especially if you're not familiar with the area. There's another one in Philadelphia but I have no clue which one that is.

And for all the shit I get about Delaware tolls, hell you can't go to the damn grocery store without paying a turnpike toll in New Jersey :grr:

25. So is the booze and cigerettes
I don't smoke but anytime I stop for gas right over the Del Mem Bridge, the parking lot is filled with NJ plates looking to buy cheap smokes.
