If you're wearing a belt with slacks that don't have thingies to hold

what do you do if the end of the belt flares out? How do you get it to nicely lie down flat?

I mean, doesn't the belt wind up in one place and the slacks in another? I'm trying to picture this but it's not working well.

the primary problem is figuring out what posessed you to put a belt around your waist while your pants are around your ankles... :-)
