If you could be any fictional character, what would you be?
My apologies in advanced if this was posted recently.

I'd love to be a wizard, like the peeps in Harry Potter. They can do many kick-ass spells and they don't die. How sweet is that?

What would you be?

3. I think I'd be
Richard Rahl from Goodkind's world. This despite what the character goes through in the plot (eek! In book 1 he gets tortured to the brink of death over and over, only to be forced to kill his captor by seeing her in a compassionate light- she was made this way by others, she wanted to die because of what they made her, etc).

Heheh... Richard gets to cast spells repeatedly that he knows nothing about, but he has more power than any wizard born in three thousand years. He doesn't know anything about using it, though, which tends to get the character into some interesting spots.

But if the person who chose God as their fictional character believes that God is fiction, then it is a completely valid choice.

16. Galactus
Galactus would be cool, but he's alone, and I think that would get miserable after a while, though it would be fun to destory planets and listen to the screams of my enemies.

So maybe I'd go with being Q - lots of power PLUS the ability to be in community.

I just bought the latest in hardback (26 bucks! Oy!) a few days ago. If you like those, also pick up Mike Resnick's "Santiago" books. Very similar and equally engaging. If I hadn't met Mike Resnick, I'd swear that the two authors were the same person.

51. Bond, James Bond...
You get to dress nice, meet lots of lovely ladies, travel to exotic locales, and get tortured/beaten senseless with no lasting ill effects. Plus, you get to blow stuff up.

I'd prefer to be the Bond in Ian Fleming's novels -- he was a little darker, a bit more divided, far more introspective.
