Shit. I need a new DSL provider
:(

Any suggestions?
My preferences:

1) Non-conglomerate company (the smaller the better)
2) Environmentally friendly (I've had Redjellyfish for the last 5 years)
3) US-based user support
4) 24-7 support

5. I've only found one that looks interesting...
I'm wondering if I need to go with earthlink or somesuch.

I just really hate calling support and talking with someone I can't understand. And I refuse to crawl to Verizon or Comcast.

8. i would think there'd be a plethora of providers round abouts...
you have Surewest back there? dunno if it's called Sureeast where you are (arh-arh), but they offer 50megs up and down out here, we're just waiting for them to run some fiber & get a larger footprint here in out area

who is your provider now?

9. I've not heard of them before, but I'll look into it.
Redjellyfish is my provider now; and I've been very happy with the service. But apparently they didn't feel they could compete. And I don't want to go back to dial-up.

Around here, the only companies I've heard people talk about are Verizon, Comcast, PeoplePC, and Earthlink.

Thanks for the tip!
