Kraft Mac & Cheese
Is there a more perfect food? Here in Canada we call it "Vitamin K", "Yellow Death", or just simply "KD". Tonight I'm having one of my fave recipes for KD. Brown a pound of ground beef with onions and garlic. Add it to the mac & cheese with a cup of salsa. Voila! Dinner.

What are you eating tonight?

1. Made boneless chicken breasts in crockpot the other day
with yummy seasonings. Will be making a THICK Boboli pizza with chicken, garlic, tomato and cheese (and a few other seasonings added.)

Have made this before, and it's so filling, one slice is plenty!

Really. So Manwich is a real food? I thought that was a joke! We have no such thing in Canada, so I just assumed.............

23. Yeah, it really is a food.
You brown ground beef & then add the Manwich to it. Serve over hamburger buns.

I don't know what it tastes like though, I've never tried it.

Manwich stands for man sized sandwich or something like that.

9. Borscht?
Are you Ukranian? I already know that you live in Canada (yay!) but I had no idea that you were east European. I am French myself. Not a faux French like the fucking Quebecers, but a real French person. I was born in France, but raised in Quebec. I have little sympathy for the Quebec nationalists. They are such whiners.

22. A True Canadian Patriot...........
Can you tell me what a Canadian patriot is? Americans seem so sure of their loyalty to flag and country, but we Canadians are less sure. Why is this? As a transplanted Canadian, I absolutely love this country. Why don't more Canadians feel the same way I do? Is patriotism a crime in this country?

6. I'm not eating
coz I'm not hungry but I fixed the husband chicken fried tofu cutlets, baked sweet potato, and small green salad with bleu cheese dressing.

I'm really bad with mac and cheese. I add extra finely shredded sharp cheddar to it coz by itself, it still isn't cheesy enough. :)

and whipped cream for dessert (Layla Babycat's fifth birthday, and the 25th anniversary of Hubby and my first date, so we had to do something a little special!)

35. I bought Annie's White Cheddar and Shells at Costco
on a whim (twelve boxes) and love the stuff! Much tastier than Kraft, though there is something very comforting about Kraft Mac & Cheese that brings back wonderful memories from my youth. Two packs of Kraft, two cans of tuna, and toasted bread crumbs - yum!

36. Leftover taco potatoes
Bake 6 potatoes

Scoop out the insides and mash it up with a little butter, buttermilk, salt, and pepper. Set aside.

Brown a pound of lean hamburger. Drain. Add some taco meat seasoning and water. Cook until it gets thicker.

Salt the empty potato skin shells. Scoop in some mashed potato mixture. Top with some taco-seasoned hamburger, some salsa, and some shredded colby jack. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Serve with taco sauce, sour cream, diced peppers, diced fresh tomatoes. :)
