Start with some grains and sugar


Hops and yeast



Put the grains in the mash tun

add hot water


Let it mash for 60 minutes. This will turn the enzymes in the sugars

Drain the wort and repeat

Add water to make 12 gallons (2 gallons will boil off)
Add hops at first boil, 45 minutes, and 15 minutes

Adding hops and corn sugar


After 1 hour chill to 80 degrees


Check the gravity. After temperature adjustment this would be 1.063, a little low but no big deal


Add yeast and set to ferment


Clean up
