and he a master of oral history.

no one comes close to Studs in capturing the human experience in story.

He is a treasure.

9. He was my commencement speaker in 1991.
A few years later while on a visit to the school, a professor struck him with a vehicle. I believe the prof was DUI but I do not recall, nor do I wish to slander him if this was not the case...

Studs gave a great speech and I remember that moment fondly.
