Carmella had made a 'plateful' of them and left them on the countertop. Never heard of them before.

you prolly already know by now, but its two hot dogs split down middle filled with creamcheese on toasted white bread.

ewwww - but then, i think perhaps i could do that with a veggie dog.
Did you see the episode? Tony came along and shoved one in his mouth. Of course, if there's food around, "T" won't pass it up, I'm sure.

What the heck is a Lincoln log sandwich?

It was in the Sopranos. Carmella made some kind of sandwich and she called it a Lincoln log sandwich.
It looked like a hot dog or some kind of sausage, split in half with either cream cheese or sour cream on it.
