Call me Lobster Girl...because I am sooooooo sun burnt, owwwww!
I just got back from a minor league baseball game (our local affiliate had an 11am business person special game) so because of the start time and the fact that my brain won't function before noon, I forgot to put on sunscreen...so now my arms, face and the first third of my thighs are BRIGHT red. I foresee massive peeling in my future!

But hey it wasn't all bad because it's not every day that you get to start drinking beer before 11am...right? :P

6. I will not embarrass myself with pics
I look so ridiculous, it's really indescribable. Both top halves of my forearms are bright red along with my cheeks and nose and here's the topper from my knees up about 3 inches on my thighs just on the front side where my shorts weren't covering my legs are all burning red...everything else is a nice pasty white. Although I did do a good job of describing it :P

Good game though the Binghamton Mets pulled out the win with a 2 run top of the 9th rally

9. I never heard of an 11 a.m. start
A few nooners, but...

There was this one time we were playing the Modesto A's and Tommy John was rehabbing with 'em. The game got changed to a real early start — no later than noon (and it was a weekday) — so TJ could throw his 50 pitches or whatever, then catch a plane to wherever Oakland was playing. It was pretty cool because almost nobody was there, so we got to just mill around and talk to him and stuff.

Not even just a thigh pic? :(

12. They have 1 or 2 on the schedule each year
there were a billion kids there today all on school trips, one of my aunts had her class there as well. Surprisingly the food lines were really short (kids had a sack lunch provided) and the beer lines were non-existent. By the 8th inning, the ballpark was a ghost town. Not a bad way to spend a morning and early afternoon

and I'm not even sure where my camera is at the moment

8. Wring out rags in ice water and keep replacing them
It will actually take the burn away if you keep it up.

11. It works but the rags get warm fast, so you have to
keep at it. When the rags start to stay cooler, you are winning. I live in FL. I've done this with my kids on their backs and it was actually gone the next day. Takes a couple of hours.

14. Aleo gel
Lots of aleo gel. Really helps with the pain and later the peeling.
