Gawd Monday mornings SUCK at work
in a half hour I have to sit in our weekly 'strategy' meeting. it is the same thing every damned week.

the company is tanking so the owners will spend a half-hour blaming the 'stupid sales staff' who can't do anything right and can't even fill out their paperwork correctly. then they will talk about the need to hire experienced sales people (of course the sales staff get NO base and are on 100% commission) and ask the rest of us what we are doing to GET experienced sales staff.

no mention will be made regarding the fact that they hire anyone off the street with NO EXPERIENCE in a tanking market and provide NO TRAINING.

nooooo, they are all "shit-bags" who don't DESERVE training because they are not worthy of the time it takes to train.

then we will 'brainstorm' for a while to come up with new ideas to generate business. we 'brainstorm' every week and nothing gets done because there isn't ever time to IMPLEMENT the ideas we 'brainstormed' last week. so those will be thrown out and the NEW ideas will be front and center.

that is, until next week's meeting. :eyes:

kill me now :argh:

3. Someone needs to get the salespeople to mention training.
I'm sure they'd be more than happy to give an earful if asked.

5. You should take the bulls by the horn ...
At the next meeting, tell them that if we think outside the box, we can create a paradigm shift and maximize your synergies.
