A friend's husband was killed in Iraq
We hadn't kept in touch lately and for that I will always be sorry.

I just found out she was notified on Christmas Eve that her Army husband was killed in Iraq. I feel like I've been punched in the stomach. I didn't known a soul over there, other than Tim. And now to find out he was killed.... I've been in tears for an hour now.

I hate * more than ever now. I will rededicate my efforts to a DC regime change in Tim's memory.

6. So sorry
This is a war, that if left unchecked, will affect all of us this way eventually.

I can only hope it doesn't get to that point.

My thoughts are with you and your friend.

7. My condolences as well, to you and your friend.
That is horribly sad. There will never be another Christmas for her that brings happiness, only sorrow over her loss.

I can't imagine what it must be like, to despise a war this much and still have friends dying over there. You can't say anything to make it sound as though they died for nothing, because there is no consolation in that. They have to beleive they died for a noble cause. Frankly, I don't see how anyone can find consolation for death in the Iraq War.

I don't have that kind of vested interest in undoing Prince George. Mine is more about my children their futures and making certain this country doesn't beat up on them.

8. I'm sorry.
What a sad way to start the New Year. It's even harder knowing that our men and women were sent over to Iraq because of our illegitimate government's failed and deceptive policy. How do you bring back a husband, a father or a friend? These men need to be thrown out in November.

Ill call out Tims name on Tuesday night at the vigil here.
Im sorry.
Be gentle with your friend now..this is hell, I went thru being a widow. Its horrible times, and lasts for a long time..the grief.
And whats so sad is it didnt HAVE TO HAPPEN.

20. I'm so sorry...
for you and your friend. Yes, rededicate yourself to whatever efforts you can to bring this nightmare to a halt. We must all do that. We must all realize that personal preferences need to be put aside; that real action needs to be undertaken; that we do have the power to take this country back. We must insist that every single elected official in this nation either listen to us, respond, act as we would have them act - or find other work. It starts with *, of course - but it doesn't end there.

Please take comfort in the fact that there are hundreds of thousands of us out here who cry with you...

I'm sorry I haven't been around to reply individually to you all. I'm passing all your messages on to Tim's family.

You know, one of the things that really bothers me is the fact that I actually forgot he was over there! I hate myself for that.
