4. I saw them in 85
In Savannah Ga.
They played in the most god-awful dive bar youcould imagine.Why they chose the place will always remain a mystery to me.

Damn good show though.They definitely rocked the house that night.

6. I think by '85, they couldn't be picky.
And frequently, a band doesn't see a venue until they show up to play, and by that point, it's too late to back out, so they just make the best of it. No internets back then where you could check out a club's website. :)

5. When I saw the Amazing Rare Garth Brooks thread, I misread it as Rare Earth
I like yours better, here's another video of Rare Earth from California Jam 1974. I still remember the debates that took place on whether or not a band could be successful with a drummer as the lead singer. I think Rare Earth proved that it could.
