3. I think he played most of his career with the Giants
but I remember one year he had like 400 saves for my Cubs.

8. I drank beer with him
at a place near Wrigley Field which shall remain nameless at this time. He was a nice guy. RIP Rod Beck. And one more thing; did you know he lived in a camper outside Sec Taylor Stadium in Des Moines, Iowa after the Cubs sent him down? True story. I don't think he was there long though. He just had to find a place to live.

that used to swing his arm back and forth like a pendulum while he was getting ready to throw the next pitch, right? He was interesting to watch, and a very successful reliever.
