This imposter to the presidency has obviously put a for rent sign on the government of the US.

It had to happen: Ad agency uses the greenback to promote a TV show.

The network <USA Network> is distributing 50,000 one-dollar bills in trendy bars in Los Angeles and New York. Affixed on each of those bills: a removable sticker bearing the USA Network logo, along with the title and airtime of the three-part miniseries.

It amounts to defacing currency. And I thought that was illegal. Yeah, it's removable, but so is ink if you use acetone.

2. As outrageous as this is...

...the Treasury is not selling ad space (yet). This is an independent effort by the USA network to place stickers on the money themselves.

5. Like commercials before a movie at a theater

things like this start small. They try it in LA and NYC and may get a few complaints but overall it will be deemed a success.

Panties aren't necessarily in a bunch but it's just another way Madison Ave is forcing themselves upon the unwilling.

12. What's the problem?

This was in the German news some time ago (the founder of the agency started his business in Berlin; most of his advertising gags, like urinal cookies, are imported from here) - all they're doing is to put a sticker on the bills.
