8. Some guys have problems with shaving cream
My brother is one. He hates shaving; he'd rather let his beard grow. Every time he shaves, mega breakout... and he'll be 51 in March!

14. Part of that is shaving incorrectly, too.
I had more pimples when I shaved against the grain. I also had more ingrown whiskers.

Now that I shave with the grain, that problem has largely disappeared. He also might be shaving with a shaving cream that clogs pores.

Don't say that! I need to have *some* hope it ends eventually! x(

I had the most perfect skin all through high school, until I was about 25 actually. Now, (about erm...*once a month*) I break out like a 16 yr old the day before prom. :(

7. I'm 41 and I have a pimple
:P

BC helps my skin a lot. If I have a breakout now, usually it's because I drink too many soft drinks a few days in a row.

9. I'm almost 40, and I still get them too.
What sucks is that I also getting gray hairs and wrinkles.

One shouldn't get pimples and gray hair at the same time.

Anyway, I don't "break out" or anything, just a pimple here and there... and I figure that when I'm 60 or 70, I'll be glad that my skin didn't age in a hurry.

My mom will be 70 next month... you'd NEVER know it to look at her. Dad looks young too.

19. They usually get better
as you get older. I used to get them more often, but now I rarely do. Usually it's when I'm stressing out about something. I'm 31. Now, gray hair is a different story. I have way too much for my age. Thank dog for hair color.

21. Anyone tried Proactiv?
Yes, I know it's an infommercial product, and hard to believe Vanessa Williams has skin problems. But I've heard good WoM about it.

Any personal experiences with Proactiv?

22. You will eventually be too old for them
unfortunately by that age you will be concerned with crow's feet.

I was very disappointed to find there was no magic age between zits and wrinkles - the two seem to overlap.

29. Is it on your face?
Edited on Fri Jan-23-04 12:08 PM by Lostmessage
There is a falsehood about pimples and age. You get them up until the day that you die but they show up in other places other then your face and when your real old they call them bed sores.
