My nephew asked: "Is Woody Allen attractive?"
He's 16. A film fan, he's been watching Woody Allen movies on TCM. Last night it was "Manhattan" wherein Allen portrays himself as an attractive fellow. Thus the question.

What do you think? Is Woody attractive?

1. Wit and humor (esp earlier days), yes, looks: LOL.
I think around "Manhattan" and some of the movies thereafter, it got a bit ridiculous with Allen still casting himself as a love interest to young Mariel Hemingway etc. as he got older and older. Not very credible IMO but then again, I'm not a woman.

3. How does one define "attractive"?
Woody was never conventionally attractive, that's for sure. But yeah, in his earlier movies, you could definitely see why a woman might be attracted to him. Self-deprecating wit and disarming charm.

4. Well, in 1970 and before he started fiddling with his adopted daughter, he was.
Just ask Diane or Mia.

Once Mia found out, she didn't exactly say "Momma mia!" in response...

5. Never.
Woody Allen typifies all that is repulsive in the male personality--passive aggression, pouting, whining, perpetually stuck in 12-year-old entitlement.

6. No, I find WA annoying and grating
so, no he's not attractive to me.

His movies, sometimes have a certain... um, charm, but I can never stand him for more than abut 15 minutes before I start to get annoyed with that whole self-absorbed neurotic bullshit.
