As humans we give definition to existence, which is as it should be, and on the whole we do the best we can of it.

It was sitting on the clothespin I was reaching for when I was taking in the clothes. Beautiful, iridescent body and multi-eyes. lace-like wings.

I put my face real close to it, it didn't move. It wasn't afraid and I wasn't either.
