Roz Chast is one of the best New Yorker cartoonists ever. EVER.



Coincidentally, DU is located very near this same intersection.

I came across a link to a video of Steve Martin interviewing Roz Chast. It's a highly enjoyable half hour-ish as they look at lots of Chast's drawings from her latest book, Theories of Everything, and talk about where her ideas come from.

One of the best parts is when they display a Chast-drawn version of a stylish living room featured in Architectural Digest. Another best part is the series of psyanka-inspired eggs Roz painted obsessively for a time, for no reason except that she felt like it.
