Man Claims To Have Magical Sword During Heist, Deputies Say
BROOKSVILLE — Not many robbers can count King Arthur's legendary sword in their arsenal.

Authorities say Brian Young claimed he was armed with Excalibur when he reportedly held up a Subway restaurant on Mariner Boulevard Sunday night.

When the call came in at 6:22 p.m., Deputy Dustin Mormando recognized the suspect's description.
The deputy had been in the sandwich shop earlier that day and said Young came in, filled a cup with ice and then lingered outside.

He recognized 56-year-old Young from past experience as a transient who lived in the nearby woods.
A clerk, Jennifer Grispo, told the deputy that Young entered the store and approached the cash register where she was standing. "Give me all of your money," he reportedly said. "Don't try anything funny because I've got an Excalibur."

2. An Excalibur?
Because there is more than one?

And how the hell did Excalibur get to Florida?

4. Maybe he meant one of these:

Which, if I were the clerk, would elicit a response of, "Well it is clear that you already have money, just very little taste."

3. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords
is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not some farcical aquatic ceremony. If I was to go around claiming I was an Emporer because some moistened bink lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away.

Come see the violence inherent in the system!

That scene almost brings tears to my eyes whenever I see it I laugh so hard.
