Finally put a bumpersticker on my Jeep

I've never had a bumpersticker on any car I've ever owned. I think it was some brainwashing by my mom--that a car would be worth approximately 49 cents the minute you put a bumpersticker on it.

But this weekend, as I was driving my 7-year-old, paid-for, rusting Jeep Wrangler down the road, I saw a "free peace bumperstickers--1 mile ahead" sign. I just HAD to follow it! A lovely individual was giving away all sorts of bumperstickers, bless him. I just couldn't choose, but I finally settled on "World Citizen", as I firmly believe that the human race transcends political borders.

Slapped it on the bumper right then and there. I don't regret it, and now I feel like bumperstickers are as addictive as tattoos--once you get one, you suddenly feel the urge to get more--which I do. (I don't have tattoos, but my inked friends tell me this is so.)

The best part is my "Catholic fundie", Bush-worshippin', Rush-lovin' aunt spotted it and was trying REALLY HARD to get offended, but she just couldn't find an angle with which to harangue me about it. She only got as far as kicking it and saying "What's this?"

Hee. Life is good.

I loves me my Wrangler! Rust and bumpersticker and all. I'm-a gonna drive that sucker till it falls apart underneath me like a worn-out car in a Looney Tunes 'toon.
