So I figured I was experiencing a stroke.
Or maybe I was about to experience seizure.

Because I was in my kitchen earlier and I smelled baking bread. And they always say that one of the symptoms of some sort of neurological trauma is often the experience of a strong smell. The common example being the smell of baking bread. I then happened to look at my oven timer and noticed that the loaf of bread I had put in earlier still had another twenty minutes before it was done.

So the moral of this story is, brain farts smell like freshly baked bread.

1. ...

I laugh, but only because I recently smelled bread baking also, and I was confused until I remembered that I actually WAS baking a loaf of bread.

2. In preparation for a hike
I sprayed bug spray all over myself.

The can sputtered, and I got an extra heavy dose of citron on my right cheek and lips.

That side of my face went numb a few minutes later, then my tongue went numb, and I thought for sure I was having a stroke.

You see, a friend of mine did have a stroke not more than two months ago, and that's how it started; numbness on his cheek.

Several hours and 300' into the climb later, the numbness started to wear off, so I guess it was a false alarm...

... except, that I can't help but feel that the right side of my face is ever so slightly saggier than the left.
brain fart or no, the pucker down under is still there.... :scared:

5. I react easiily to burning smells
Especially when I cannot figure out where they are coming from. It sends me into a high level of anxiety. No, I have never experienced a fire first hand (in this life anyway). I have been always afraid of fire though.
