2. I do. I was rooting for Butterscotch.
Besides, I thought it was a contest for amateurs, and he isn't one! :)

4. I watched the first show and concluded that America doesn't have talent, but....
as soon as I saw Butterscotch I thought WOW! I stayed the whole season, rooting for her all the way. That Cass guy was good too. I would have been happy to see him win. But THE VENTRILOQUIST??? (kids and old people, what are you gonna do?)

5. I was really torn between Cas and Butterscotch!
Do you remember what they call Butterscotch's style of singing? I've never heard anything like it before. I sure hope Cas gets a contract out of it...he was excellent!

22. I hate that show, but his act *was* pretty amazing
His vocal range alone is mightily impressive, and he's a damn fine ventriloquist besides. Of course, I was rooting for the pogo-stick guy, but what can you do?

26. I didn't see his first performance until the post-victory retrospective montage
His Etta James knocked my socks off (which, I admit, sounds like a puppet double entendre).

27. Oh hell, I missed that one.
I watched the show sporadically but kept rooting for Cas until 3 weeks ago when all of a sudden this puppet guy floored me.
