The kitten's new obsession:
The second hand on the wall clock...Even though it's a good 6 feet above him, he sits under it and stares and stares, twitching his tail...As, he's doing right this second...

4. When I was a kid, we had a TV-watching cat.
Nature shows were like video games for her. She pawed the screen whenever a fish or bird or rodent was on. Dopey kitty.

6. What was funny about our kitty is how she reacted to big cats and predators.
Edited on Wed Sep-12-07 08:27 PM by Gormy Cuss
Even though on screen they were smaller than her she had that wide eyed ready to flee look when a lion or tiger was eating dinner on screen. I guess her little brain processed them as real and not too far away. Wolves and coyotes flipped her out.

(You can tell that we thought watching her was great cheap entertainment, LOL.)

11. My Shadow LOVES Meerkat Manor.
Edited on Wed Sep-12-07 08:36 PM by mycritters2
When it's on, I actually make sure the TV's on and set to it. I don't even have to get him, he just somehow knows, and parks himself in front of the TV. He loves to watch those little guys bouncing across the screen. He even tries to catch 'em once in a while, and acts annoyed by the commercials. I don't know how I'll explain it to him if they ever cancel it.

9. theres a stray cat at my mom's house
that pretty much lives there on the porch. My mom keeps a woven decorative basket hanging on the front door that has straw and stuff on it. Well this cat will jump 4 feet up in the air and strike it, repeatedly. It's pretty funny to watch. I think she thinks it is a birds nest and is trying to knock eggs out.
