7. I think there are safe ways of taking steroids.

Not that I would ever recommend them, but if he does it through a doctor or professional, he can take things to minimize the side effects.

But if you want to get to him, maybe hit him from a competitive angle. Argue that taking steroids is cheating, and that your not using your natural strength to get what you want.

steroids are feminizers. Man-boobs can happen. Along with other things including impotence. Side effects can be horrendous. He might want to talk to someone who takes steroids for a really med condition. I doubt he would want to take them after hearing about what they have to deal with on a daily basis (I have a relative who takes them-she would give anything to be off of them)

The best reason not to take them is that they are illegal without a script. If he's determined, he should go see his doctor and be honest with him/her about wanting to take them. The doctor should take a standing testosterone level as well as full bloodwork. He should go back after every cycle to be checked again. To not do so, is just stupid.

Fact is, there are safe ways to take them in small doses in short cycles. I wouldn't recommend taking them, because like most things, when a little doesn't work anymore, all too often folks do a little more. In time and with amounts, they can be detrimental to your health. They can also get expensive. And with most illegal stuff, you never really know if what you're buying is the real deal.

28. There's a Filipino guy who goes to my gym who is clearly on steroids.

My husband (who is also Filipino) says there are some bigger Filipinos but you can tell by looking at this guy that he's supposed to be smaller.

I have to say, he might be more muscular, but he looks fucking ridiculous. It doesn't fit his frame or his face. Which is a shame because he would be an attractive guy if he wasn't so out of proportion. He also has terrible acne (not common among Filipinos but common among steroid users) and he can't even really stand up fully straight. It's sad.

I don't get it either because fit Asian men, though perhaps on the average a bit smaller than other guys, have really nice proportions and almost always have great legs. Why try to be something you're not, when who you *are* is already attractive? My husband will never win any he-man contests but he's been working out 6x a week for over a year and he looks HOT.
