Hartford/New Britain area DUers - Rep. Chris Murphy to be in Unionville (Farmington) on Saturday

At the soon to be re-modeled Stop & Shop on Route 4 between 10:00 am and 11:30 am on Saturday, Sept 15. The exact address is 1823 Farmington Avenue in Farmington. I'm going to try to stop by, as it's less than 5 minutes from my house. He, and his staff, will be taking some questions. I think they plan to do this regularly at various sites around his district.

I'm posting it here, because nobody visits the CT forum anymore...

3. He's not in my district (I'm in Larson's), but an interesting tidbit.

I went to high school with Murphy, but I was a senior when he was a sophomore. I knew him a little (I think we were in the same study hall once :shrug:). Nice kid.

but, I've said that before and not made it... But, it's easy enough for us to stop there on the way to the Asian Festival & dragon boat races in downtown Hartford. And, we stop at that old Friendly's there almost every week - the servers that work there all know my daughter like everybody at Cheers knew Norm.
