I personally have connections with a local support group who has been through your brand of pain. You could come with me to a session. They're mostly stricken with commercials for a telephone company, but others have suffered your predicament as well. We enjoy coffee and cheese danishes.

On a tough love note, don't expose yourself to every mystery that happens your way. You could end up falling down a manhole and getting stuck in a pipe.
