Anyone else watching CSI?
Edited on Thu Sep-27-07 08:41 PM by YellowRubberDuckie
I'm sorry, but I'm rooting for the water...NOT Sara.
On Edit...Now I'm rooting for the sun. I have never liked that girl on this show.

5. I used to love CSI but it has gone downhill of late.
This show in particular was boring. They spent most of the 43 minutes or so, showing Sara under the car, underwater in the car or walking around in the desert. It's as if they fired all the writers and just used the camera to tell the story.

6. I conked out around the time
where they found the car, and figured out she was wandering in the desert somewhere..

so tell me -
did they find her?

If not, are they considering her dead so they can bring her back in a later show as an amnesia victim slinging hash at a Chili-R-Us joint where another horrific murder has taken place, and she suddenly remembers she knows this stuff?

If so - was she dead/alive?
If alive, is she going to 'take some time off' from "the Job" - this leave it open for returning guest appearances...

If dead - does she have a twin sister that will show up in later episodes?

8. Yes......
they found her alive (unfortunately) unconscious at deaths door near a road. The cracked mirror she lugged around finally paid off.

9. jerry bruckheimer is what is wrong with america
people watch these shows and think the police are professionals.

in fact, police are often vicious morons who get many cases thrown out because they botch up the chain of evidence.

except when they get good and learn how to lie really well.

but the overproduced, template-driven rendition that is CSI is pretty much an exercise in full blown fantasy. not that that's bad. if it's well done.

jerry bruckeimer's work ALWAYS reads like a commercial or a music video.

10. I'm calling bullshit
First off, my wife is a forensic scientist and teaches forensic science at the local university. She has a masters degree in forensic chemistry and I bet is twice as smart as you are.

Forensic scientist ARE professionals!

I'll tell you this, true forensics people think those shows do the exact oppisite...they usually laugh their way through the show and my wife usually starts her classes with a 5 minute discussion of what was the stupidest thing they saw in the last CSI show.

13. Ummm, it is teevee
And I think many people who watch the shows know the difference. I don't know who you associate with, but the people I hang out with know what's real and not.
