Why doesn't the Lounge have DUzy awards?

30. I've watched this thread all day, and didn't want to comment

but what the heck, here goes.

It's an unwritten rule that the DUzy Awards are confined to political, topical subjects, since this is (supposedly) a political forum. I've broken this rule occasionally, if something has crippled me with laughter, as Lounge posts sometimes do. There's a lot of cleverness here, as has been noted, but you're probably right in advocating for a Lounge-only counterpart. I for one would read them religiously.
