Whats another word for Soulmate?
Edited on Tue Oct-23-07 02:44 PM by romantico
I've been asked to say a few words at a friend's engagement party dinner next motnh and am working on a short speech. I have a question. Whats another word for soulmate? That word is so over used I was trying to think of something a little different or unique. Only thing I could come with is 'twin spirit'. How does that sound? If anyone has better chocies, pass em on! Thanks!

18. ;-)
The huggybear comment was used one time online between Lelapin (my daughter) and ZombieNixon (her boyfriend). It's never been lived down.

;)

I like divine complement. Made for each other, meant for one another. :)

10. "Friends"
These two wonderful friends have decided to formalize their friendship in the bonds of holy matrimony. May their friendship make their marriage everlasting and may neither friendship nor marriage be broken by external forces they certainly will face. Who better to go through life with then one's best friend. As Walt Whitman said "to have a friend you must be one." Oh these two have friends alright.

Sorry for rambling on.

21. Other half.
But I'd be more inclined to rework the sentence and employ a different phrasing entirely.

"...who find themselves so deeply connected that it seemed apparent they would share their lives."

Or something which in essence, describes the spirit one attempts to embody in the short phrase 'soulmate.'
