Hot flashes suck!
I desperately want to go home and take a nap, with AC blasting and cats curled up next to me.
I want coffee right now, but I don't want to go near anything hot.
Migraine headaches suck the life out of you.
And, I really don't give a damn about all the problems the Finance department has created.

:P

What thoughts are swirling around your head at the moment?

I know from experience that hot flashes suck. I'm sorry you've had to learn first-hand. :(

4. If more guys got hot flashes I think they'd realize that
woman are tough as nails. OMG, I'm dizzy, lightheaded, tired and I want to climb into a freezer somewhere. Anyone who can go through this and still function has my deepest admiration.

3. Yes they do.
I am constantly asking people if it is overly warm or is it just me. 99% of the time it is just me.

Sorry about your migraine!

10. Heidi is going to be mad at you.
It sounds like the menopause fairy visited you instead of her.

It's not going to be pretty when she finds out. :P

14. The heat in my bedroom died years ago
and I told the super not to bother fixing it. At least in the winter I can finally get a good night sleep. I wish you had that option. :(

I hope I can still do that this winter. I'm wondering if the arthritis will force me to get the heat turned on.

19. I close our bedroom vent
And since it only gets down to the low 50s at night in the winter, I open our patio door (we have a patio door in our master bedroom). I also have a fan blowing on me constantly.

16. My husband has night-sweats sometimes.
I understand being cranky about that. It's even worse when you are the one in bed perfectly dry and roll over into a pool.

I'm sorry you have to deal with that.

You must be a fan sleeper, even in winter. I know a kindred spirit.

And often the patio door is open as well, in the winter.

17. I hear ya honey! Hot flashes are natures way of making you pay for
not getting a period. I'd give you a hug but I know how it feels right now so instead pretend the coffee is cold. .:donut:

I wonder if an Iced soymilk mocha latte is any good. I've only ever had them hot. I think I'm going to find out.

25. That really is NOT fair. Then again a lot of things about being
female are not fair. I wouldn't trade it for the alternative though.

And I (a guy) got hot flashes. OMFG. I have so much empathy for my wife when she has them now. That really sucked!

28. My sister is in the ER right now..
They are fixing her female parts right now. She wants me to have the kids if she dies.. I'm not cool with that.. I didn't tell her that. Once I finish my beer I will clean her house a prepare a proper bed for her while she recovers. I suck at this adult thing.

29. Being an adult often sucks.
:(

So much of life is just doing stuff because it has to get done.

I hope your sister is healthy and lives for a very, very long time.
