What does it mean when I can't add a song to iTunes?
iTunes is refusing to let me add a music file to my Library. Every time I try to add it, either as part of a folder or a stand-alone file, it doesn't work.

I get no warning message or error message. It just won't go.

Yet I can play it in MediaPlayer and MusicMatch Jukebox without a problem.

Any clue, anybody?

1. What type of file type is it?
iTunes won't play certain types.

2. your basic MP3
According to Windows Explorer, it says it isn't protected, either.

I tried re-naming it, too. No dice.

3. Maybe it doesn't have ID3 tags so it shows up at the bottom instead of where it should be?
I dunno, I don't use iTunes enough to have any other answers for you, haha.

6. I don't think so... it's not from a CD
It's one big 18-hour track I got from "other sources". Entire book, start to finish. It's on my hard drive right now. I want to put it on my iPod Nano, just like the other, similar audiobooks I have on there that work just fine.

8. It might have some kind of DRM attached to it
That is different from what Itunes uses. For example, I could download tunes from Spiral Frog but they would only play in Windows media player, not itunes.
