WHEN did the Sunbeam Bread girl find Jesus?
I was in a hurry, so I stopped by a local convenience store & got bread. Then I looked, and all of a sudden they've got this new logo. Maybe it was a big deal here at one point or another and I missed it cause I had no internet access.

So, instead of a messy buttery face, the girl is now apparently washed up & ready for bed. She's bowing her head and holding her hands in prayer with her eyes closed. There are about 40 or so stars in the picture against a deep blue sky. It says the quote "Not by bread alone".

I swear I did an internet search for this picture to no avail. I have to go back to work in a few minutes, but I just had to post this.

22. My dad's dad called it "Morrisville cake"- the white stuff, I mean.
I did an experiment once. In college, I hung a huge map of the world on my dorm wall using white bread, and it stuck for 3 months!

:pals: HEY sis!

4. Actually, I believe that is the ORIGINAL logo.
I've seen in in some Historic Park locations like Crossroads Village in Flint, redone on metal like one of those old signs.

(I'm sorry  I can't help it.) Sunbeam is pure white bread. Like Ivory soap. Pure. But crammed with enough preservatives to embalm you alive.

...expecting to see his still, blue corpse, the joke was on her. He'd been bodily assumed into heaven.

That darned Jesus!
