1. I do
I have female friends I'm not trying to sleep with. Now, if they pop up and just offer it up, you know, I'd probably hit it....just sayin'

Now, if you ask "Do you have female friends you're attracted to that you aren't trying to sleep with?" that might be a different story. :P

36. To answer the revised question
Yes, I have many male friends I don't flirt with, hit on, or try to sleep with.

I even have some very attractive, adorable, gorgeous male friends that I'm just friends with. If things worked out differently I wouldn't turn down a chance at a relationship, but I won't break a good friendship over it. :)

8. Sure
Of course, I'm old enough to be her dad (actally, my daughter is two years older than her). At some point, you have to realize that you had your chance to spread the joy and the DNA around and it's time to curl up with the lap blanket, hot toddy and fuzzy but happy memories.
John
That, and my wife would probably not approve of my chasing like an idiot after a 25-year-old.

27. Well, I guess it's just instictive behavior.
It doesn't mean you can't have friends that are men....but you just have to be aware they would do you if you asked. There's always that dynamic. Always.

The corollary would be internet relationships, because there's no physical interaction.
I do have female friends---one is my longtime partner in our banking op, but there's always sexual tension between us. I suppose that's why she's such a good fit partnershipwise. She can handle it, and so can I.

It's always surprising to see twentysomethings that don't understand this and they are shocked! when in the right situation guy makes move. Or vice versa. The converse is true as well I suppose.

Would it strengthen it or destroy it.

I have many female friends who I don't even think about sex with.

To be fair, however, I have had friends whom I would love to sleep with, but it's not an issue if they are not interested in the same. In a similar note, I have also had friends who have expressed wanting to sleep with me, but when I let them know I am not interested, they are still friends.

I've always gotten along with women better than guys. In the past the thought has crossed my mind, I'd be lying if I said it didn't, but I'm old enough now to know better, and value one's friendship over physical gratification.

56. I'd enjoy sleeping with most of my female friends but I'm not trying to sleep with any of them
This might be TMI but in my single days most women made up their minds about whether or not they wanted to sleep with me within a day or two of meeting me.

I rarely attempted to seduce any of them because I knew what the result would be.
