1. My neighbors fight with their grown son when he comes around.
Happily, this isn't often. But when it happens, I don't have to strain to hear what they're yelling about. They won't let him in their home--so the fights always happen on their front porch. My cats always go sit in the windows to watch :)

2. Only if it escalates to a gunfight.
At least a half mile to the nearest neighbor, I can hear them shooting every once in a while and that's about it.

3. Viciously. And they're in their 80's & shitfaced most of the time.

5. Nope!
The place next door has been empty for about 3-4 months now but even when I had neighbors,
I never heard them fight, ever but I did hear their band practicing in the basement! ;)

They might have heard me yelling at my son to take out the trash though! :P

6. In my old condo, I could definitely hear the neighbors fighting
and doing everything else, including the horizontal mambo. In the townhouse I've been in for the past year, I hear nothing, even though I have neighbors on both sides.

Three cheers for quality construction, and a layout which placed utility space and stairs between units.
