1. No. Fucksake, decorate it for Easter if you want!
When the hell did everyone get all militant about when we can decorate or sing certain songs?

Heh... I'm all pissy today. Ignore me. :P

4. I'm shocked that neither of them have knocked it over yet.
They enjoy batting the balls on the lower branches, but so far no major destruction! I think they're just biding their time...

7. I know, it's shit.
We took better pictures last night, but my husband hasn't emailed them to me yet. Deal with it, Hitler!

6. Your cat is adorable!
Also, I don't think you've decorated too early. Thanksgiving is only a few days away, after all. It's not like it's the day after Halloween. That might be pushing it a bit.

I've already gone out and bought decorations, and plan to put them up this weekend. That should be fun, a kitten and a Christmas tree. Yikes.

8. So far, our cats have treated the tree with a modicum of respect.
I fully expected to have to bolt it to the wall after they'd knocked it down a few times, but they seem pretty laid back about the whole thing. Maybe you'll get lucky! :D

12. I can dream!
I've got three cats. The oldest two have done the Christmas tree thing before. Riley will play with anything he can touch, but otherwise leave the tree in peace. Spencer is afraid of it, and won't go anywhere near it.

But then there's Kyra. She's 5 months old. She's currently attacking my window blinds. Really, she's a good baby, but she's SO inquisitive. I fear for the tree. And the lights. And the garland. And the bows.

It's gonna be a LONG month. ;)

20. Ya know...
it's REALLY NOT OKAY to post details about a FIVE MONTH OLD KITTEN and then NOT POST PICTURES OF SAID KITTEN.

:grr:

10. If I could I would have my tree up.
I have had the Christmas carols playing since the First of November. But I love the Holidays and start celebrating as early as possible.

15. My wife's family has a tradition that they decorate for Christmas on the weekend after Dec. 5th.
Her little brother's birthday is the 5th, and they wait til after that. I on the other hand grew up in a household where when Santa Claus enters Herald Square at the end of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Christmas music comes out and after we eat Thanksgiving Day dinner, the tree gets decorated that afternoon. Then Dad and I would decorate the outside of the house over the weekend. My wife thinks I am to early for the tree. I think her family is to late. We try to compromise but usually after some well placed hints she gives in and we decorate right after thanksgiving.

13. Not insane in the least
The snow that we've had has gotten me into the spirit of things. I'll be setting my tree up this weekend, if everything works out well.

14. You're not insane, because
you saved yourself a lot of stress by getting it done early. Now you can enjoy the Christmas season. However, I personally think that Christmas lights should not be turned on until the day after Thanksgiving. Just my opinion.

16. Another soldier in the war on Thanksgiving
I should have put up my outside lights last weekend. Temperatures in the 60's. This weekend's forecast -- high 30s. :scared:

Cute cat btw.

19. My cat loves to knock over Christmas trees
I have a fake one. I am sure a real one might be too heavy but I came home once to find everything on the ground, and most of the ornaments broken.
