Allergies and psoriasis make a nasty combination.

1. Maybe you were just being funny
but I actually do have both psoriasis and eczema, along with allergies.

My face, my elbows, the back of my knees, my right shoulder blade and my left big toe are a nasty mess right now and my health insurance doesn't kick in until January.

3. Actually, I was trying to make a funny in order to feel better about myself...

I could put up pics of my arms, legs, elbows, ankles, neck, tops of my feet, other parts... it's no picnic. Not by a country mile. And it's hampered my ability TO exercise given how painful it is. Especially with the ankles and feet.

And everything I've tried (I've been to numerous dermatologists, allergists, rheumatologists, et al) have not been effective. Even the methohextrate (you know, the drug made in China that was later recalled because it was poorly made) did not help.

(it was also a copycat, but meh. With me, I rarely give a direct answer...)

7. We've posted back and forth for too long now
I knew it had to be a copycat thread.

At least we agree that the skin crap sucks. I've now been informed that since my flare-ups seem to occur when I'm stressed that maybe I should seek therapy and hope it helps out.

(Of course I can't afford that right now so...)

4. xmas
i just got turned on to this stuff: http://safideadseasalt.com/_wsn/page3.html

I bought the mud and the sea water.

I tested it on a spot on my neck, and it cleared up over night.

the problem mainly is on my legs. That's going to take a while.

6. I will definitely give it a try.
The eczema didn't appear until I was pregnant nearly 8 years ago with my daughter while the psoriasis didn't until the last year. My doctor said that both were probably triggered by stress. Problem is that now I can't get rid of either.

If it makes it a wee bit better it will be worth it.
