Did the Velvet Underground ever play at CBGB's?
Even without Lou Reed or John Cale?

VU and CBGB's go together like sex and lube...

I just wonder if the two ever happened to be a part of the same thing.

1. Highly unlikely.
The the final "origial" incarnation of VU broke up in 1973, and CBGB didn't start booking rock acts until '74. IIRC Television was the first rock act booked there-- usually it was only country and bluegrass.
