8. Didn't have anything special tonigh . .
Chicken nuggets and tots.. it was microwave night..

Saturday I went out for wings..

Friday.. Friday was a good dinner.... Slow roasted Deer Shoulder . . . (Which I took my portion sliced up and put it on a bun for a deer sanmich.)

Basically the night before someone from my Grandma's church came to the house and went "So, will you guys this this hunk of deer away from us" . . we decided to help her out for no reason other than the goodness in our hearts :).

14. Only like the third time I ever had it .. .
The first two times was in a spaghetti and as a hamburger (With my Mom not telling me it was deer until after I ate it).

Honestly, it was good but not oh my god amazing I must have this again.

This was my probably first time eating anything deer in about 7-8 years maybe. And I wouldn't of done it if it wasn't given to us.

was made from deer burger. That was several years ago but I still remember it. I also once made teriyaki meatballs as an appetizer with it, too. Very yummy stuff.

...often called the "backstrap" by hunters, you'll have pork unlike anything you've ever gotten from the store. SO delicious. You cook it as you would commercial pork, but the flavor is just incredible.

Plus, MrSG just got an iPod Shuffle, and my daughter is Queen of the iPods, so she can teach me the finer points of that (and hopefully I can teach MrSG).

And I'm a lucky momma/momma in-law. :loveya:

and maybe throw in some of the Hatch chilis I have in the freezer

yup, sounds like a plan as that same freezing rain will roll in tonight and is scheduled to stay for the next 3 days

The ribs are leftovers from the freezer, the greens are fresh cooked today by the SO.

As for you. a couple nights of takeout in a week is okay, dammit. Sometimes you just need a break.

21. It's "scrounge around in the cabinets/fridge and eat whtatever weird combo you come up with" night
I'm cash-poor till payday (Friday) x(

So today it was a 50-cent hot dog at IKEA, and lunch/dinner is/has been cheese melted onto wasa crackers, some sliced spicy (!!) Kielbasa with BBQ sauce, and for dessert an English muffin with homemade strawberry jam.

Weird, but it'll do. :7

for our rinky dink little town, it's actually quite good. My friend made risotto with walnuts, parmesan, sundried tomatoes and turkey breast for her friends -- too bad she's 1000 miles away from me, or I'd have been over there for dinner!
